The Colour Card Collages
An excecise in create play, each colour card collage starts with a paint colour sample card. The collage is then inspired by the colour or it's name, and created using only images available in mass print media. Subverting the original intentions of the images, these collages take mass produced imagry and create original one-of-a-kind vingettes.
Sushifishal
The single use ‘sushi fish’ soy sauce packaging is an instantly recognisable part of the experience of eating sushi in Australia. In this exhibition this iconic image is used as a motif to consider the privileged ability to ‘sample’ other cultures in one-off experiences – particularly through food.
Date Night @ The Wheaty
Curated by Georgia Willoughby, Date Night @ The Wheaty was a group exhibition considering the highs and lows of online dating. Blah, Blah, Blah reflects on the tedium of interchangeable conversations and endless scrolling.
Lockdown Prints
Made during the July 2021 lockdown in Adelaide, these chine collé lino prints were posted for free to people experiencing lockdown across four Australian states and territories. The aim was to bring a little colour and connection into a bleak and lonely time.
Lost in the Shuffle
An interactive city-wide exhibition created for the 2021 Adelaide Fringe, Lost in the Shuffle saw 8 Adelaide based artists transform a pack of jumbo playing cards into 54 original pieces of art which were hidden around Adelaide for Fringe-goers to find and keep.
